Jordan Lutz, 22, Velva, formerly of Sawyer and Clinton, MD, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in a Minot hospital.

Jordan Patrick Lutz was born on February 23, 1993 at Minot Air Force Base, the son of Tim and Jodi (McCarty) Lutz. He was raised and educated in Minot until moving to Clinton, Maryland to live with his mother, where he attended Grace Bretheren Christian School for two years. He returned to live with his father in Sawyer in 2007 and graduated from Sawyer High School in 2011.

After graduating, he was employed with the Cenex of Velva and was currently employed with Minot Builders Supply.

Jordan enjoyed hanging out with friends, listening to music and drawing. He loved animals, working on cars and especially offering a helping hand to others. He will be truly missed by all who shared in his life.

Jordan's loving family includes: his parents, Tim (Tandi) Lutz, Oskaloosa, IA and Jodi Wells, Glen Burnie, MD; siblings: Zachary Lutz, Burlington, ND, Armoni Wells, Minot, Kenayah Wells, Glen Burnie, MD, Zach Barbee, Oskaloosa, IA and Maverick and Jonathan Hess, both of Pampa, TX; maternal grandparents: Jim and Roberta Zastawniak, Chariton, IA; paternal grandparents: Russell and Sue Lutz, Hutchinson, KS and Dwight and Sue Keller, Foxholm, ND.

Jordan was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Connie Sue Garrison.

Celebration of Life service : Monday, July 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in First Church of the Nazarene, Minot.
Visitation : Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
