John Milton Waller, Jr. , 57, Minot, died Saturday, April 30, 2011, in his home.

John was born on May 11, 1953, in Minot, to John and Lola (Lee) Waller, one of eight children. He was educated in Minot area schools and worked as a mechanic for many years. Most recently, John did mechanic work out of his home and had worked as a mechanic for the Minot Cab Company for several years.

John not only enjoyed working on cars, but loved watching Nascar Racing every Sunday. He liked helping people out and will be greatly missed by those who shared in his life.

His loving family includes, siblings: Ron (Nancy) Waller, Minneapolis, MN, Donna Erickson, Bismarck, ND, Arlene Law, San Antonio, TX, and Jerome Waller, Minot, ND; numerous nieces and nephews, including: Val Brew, Jennifer Erickson-Spencer, Deb Cooley, Rebecca Anderson, Donna Law, and Joe Waller; and many cousins.

John is preceded in death by, his parents; sister, LaVonne Clark; brothers, Galen Waller and Milton Waller; and nephew, Johnny Waller.

Memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011, at the Salvation Army Corps (Church), at 315 Western Ave, Minot.
