John Nickel, 42, Minot died Monday, June 4, 2007, in his home.

John was born March 18, 1965, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Sheldon and Geraldine (Kwasigroch) Nickel. He was raised and educated in North Dakota. He was employed in the meat department at Miracle Mart in his younger years.

John was united in marriage to Charity Elmore on November 26, 2002 in Minot.

John enjoyed fishing, bowling, softball, video games, playing pool, and football in his younger years.

Holly Springs, PA; Cousins: Tony, Alex, Lisa, Keith, Tiffany, and Kenny Jr; and Great Aunt: Erna Harr, Minot.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents: Peter and Olive Kwasigroch, David and Minnie Nickel; brother: Peter Nickel; Uncles: Larry and Bob Nickel; Cousin: Alexis Walter; and great uncle: Oliver Harr.

Funeral: Saturday, June 9, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
Visitation: Friday, June 8, 2007, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
