John A. Rasmusson , 81, 310 2nd Street S.E. Minot, and formerly of Kenmare, died Saturday, September 23, 2006, in a Westhope Nursing Care Center.

John was born July 12, 1925, at Kenmare, North Dakota, the son of Hans and Kristine (Boreson) Rasmusson. He was raised and educated in Crowfoot Township of Mountrail County.

John entered into active duty service with the US Army and served during World War II. He was honorably discharged returned to North Dakota. John was employed with Porter Brothers throughout the years and had most recently been a resident of the Milton Young Towers.

John is survived by Sisters: Mabel Helwig of Donnybrook, ND, and Hannah Meyers of Minneapolis, MN; Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Paul, brothers, Oscar and Ted; and Sister: Edna Steen.
