Joann L. Zietz, 74, Minot, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 in a Minot Healthcare Center.

Joann was born January 17, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Jesse and Gertrude (Dompier) Pugh. She moved with her mother and step-father, Vilas "Hoppie" Stanton, to Harvey and later to Minot, where she graduated from High School in 1950.

Joann was united in marriage to Eugene Zietz on January 20, 1952 at Minot. She was employed at Northwest Clinic prior to being a devoted homemaker and mother of their eleven children.

Joann was a member of St Mark's Lutheran Church, and was active with the Women's Circle group. She enjoyed playing bingo, canning and spending time in her flower garden.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents and son: Eugene.

Funeral service : Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Minot;
Interment : Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot;
Visitation : Tuesday from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot;
