JoAnn M. (Schloer) Brown, 73, Berthold, died Friday, March 7, 2008 at Trinity Hospital, Minot.

JoAnn was born October 15, 1934 to Robert and Margaret (Houston) Schloer, in rural Foxholm. She was raised in Burlington and the surrounding area, in Ward County. She graduated from St. Leo's Catholic School in 1952. JoAnn married Harry Brown on September 6, 1954 in Berthold. They lived in Berthold where she was employed at various jobs before beginning employment at Berthold School as a cook for twenty-six years.

She was a CCD teacher, along with a Parish council member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Berthold.

JoAnn's enjoyed having morning coffee with the ladies, reading books and spending time at the park. She always looked forward to the holidays with her family and going to Medora, ND.

JoAnn was preceded in death by parents, and husband, Harry of 41 years.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, March 14, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Berthold.
Vigil Prayer service: Thursday, March 13, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. in the church.
Visitation: Thursday, March 13, 2008, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
