Joan Charlebois , 63, Centennial, CO formerly of Minot, died October 31, 2019 in her home.

Joan was born on August 3 1956, to Anthony and Verna Charlebois (Henjum) in Minot ND. She was baptized, made her First Communion and was Confirmed at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Minot ND. She attended Sunnyside Elementary School through sixth grade. Joan attended Bishop Ryan High School, graduating with the class of 1974. She continued her education at Minot State University, where she studied criminal justice.

In the summer of 1979, she moved to the Denver, Colorado area. Joan started a job at a Holiday Inn and with the help of a friend, she earned a job at a Western Geo Physical Company. Joan held that job until 1995 when the company relocated.

Joan continued in the working world of IT departments of hospitals and for VISA. Recently, she was a cashier at a grocery store called King Soopers, where her co-workers miss her deeply.

Joan liked to bake for her friends. They all loved her chocolate covered strawberries and eclairs. She loved animals but cats were her favorite. George, Jennifer and Garth Vader were a few of her favorites with her most recent fur babies being named Isabella and Zach. She will be missed deeply by all who were blessed to share in her life.

Joan is survived by her sisters Judy Charlebois and Christie Charlebois, both of Thief River Falls, MN and Michelle Gieser of Logan, ND; brother, Marty (Pam) Charlebois of Sheridan, WY; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends Virginia Parberry and Rosemary Tanberg.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, sister Catherine 'Kitty' Faydo and brother John Charlebois.

Mass of Christian Burial:  10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020 at St. Leo The Great Roman Catholic Church, Minot.
Interment:  Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND
