James 'Jim' Fry, 57, Columbus, ND formerly of Tri-Cities, WA, died Saturday, July 11, 2020 in a Minot hospital.

Jim was born May 31, 1963 in Kirkland, WA to Vernon and Carol (Olson) Fry.  He spent his teenage years in Kennewick, WA graduating from Kennewick High School in 1981.

Jim spent his working years as a long haul truck driver for more than 20 years.  He moved to Columbus, ND with his wife Deneva in 2011.  He worked in the oil field hauling gravel and water for the industry until his health forced him to retire.

Jim enjoyed the outdoors spending time with family fishing and camping.  He also willingly found his place under the hood of a vehicle on many occasions to pass the time.

Those honored to share in Jim life include his sons Michael (Nicole) Fry and Christopher Fry and their mother, Merilu all of Kennewick, WA; loving wife Deneva and their son, Andrew Fry of Columbus, ND; grandchildren Memphis James, Logan, Sophia, Rosie, Milo, RJ, Landyn, Xander, Jaxon and Jay; step daughters Alyssa, Maia, Devanie and Autumn; brothers Mark Fry and Sam Fry along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Carol and brother Art Fry.
