Jeanette C. Jenson , 94, Minot, died Friday, March 11, 2016, in a Minot nursing home.

Jeanette was born May 24, 1921, near Casselton, ND to Eugene and Laura (Marchand) Boisjolie. She was raised in rural Casselton and graduated from Casselton High School in 1940.

Jeanette moved to Seattle Washington, where she was employed as a 'Rosie The Riveter' until returning to Fargo, where she met Clifford T. Jenson. They were united in marriage on October 25, 1947 in Moorhead, MN but made their home in Casselton until 1956, when they moved their family to Minot.

In addition to her lifetime duties as a mother and grandmother, Jeanette worked as a waitress and hostess at the Minot Elks for twenty-five years. Clifford died October 4, 1995.

Jeanette was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Minot. She enjoyed quilting, spending time at the family cabin on Lake Metigoshe, along with spoiling her grandkids. She will be missed by all who shared in her life.

Jeanette's loving family includes: her children, Neil (Sharon) Jenson, Kipp (Laurie) Jenson and Brenda (Jim) Larsen, all of Minot; grandchildren: Jennifer (Ryan) Carlson, Melissa Larsen (Danny Zepeda), Anjuli Ricker, Jeff (Cathy) Jenson, Levi (Chelsie) Jenson, Kendra (Jake) Adams, Katie (Tim) Sage, Matthew Johnston, Samantha (Josh) Ross, Kevin Kupniewski, Tammy Kupniewski, Chris (Kathy) Kupniewski, Deb DeShaw and Elayne (Garrett) Simmons; great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Rylan and Rylee Carlson, Joslin Ricker, Abigail and Madison Jenson, Annikah and Atticus Jenson, Lila, Brady and Emery Adams, Toni, Leanne and Kevin Jr. Kupniewski, Christopher Jr. and Jessica Kupniewski, Aaron Dixon, Danielle and Brock DeShaw, David and Raymond Johnson and Hayden Smoot; brother, Ovid Boisjolie, Minot, ND and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clifford, grandson, Ron Jonson, daughters, Virginia Kupniewski, Jennell Johnston, and LaVerne Johnson, brothers, Chet, Lloyd and Ralph Boisjolie.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in Faith United Methodist Church, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
Visitation: Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are preferred to the Faith United Methodist Church Building Fund.
