Janice C. Jones, 76, Minot formerly of Arizona and Arkansas, died Monday, October 25, 2021, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Janice was born July 22, 1945, in Greenville, Michigan to William and Imogene (Sommers) Lafnear. She was raised and educated in Greenville, graduating with the Greenville High School class of 1963.

Janice was blessed with a family of three children after high school. She made her home in Arizona and later Arkansas working as a caregiver for the elderly during her working years until being a grandmother and great-grandmother became her full-time job.

Janice was a devout Christian, who enjoyed listening to Jimmy Swaggart on television and any gospel music on the radio. She enjoyed writing and spending precious time with her family. She will be missed deeply by all who shared in her life.

Janice is survived by her children, Marci York, Minot, Eric, and Roger Myers of Arkansas; grandchildren Dax York, Jet York, Zai York, Autumn Myers, Paige Myers and Trace Myers; great-grandchildren Phaze York, Ava York, Denver York, Genesis McElroy and Winter McElroy; sisters JoAnne Scott and Billie Green of Arizona and brother Beau Lafnear of Arizona along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents William and Imogene Lafnear and grandson Tristin W. Myers.
