Janice Rae Fouchey, 69, Minot died on Monday, December 16, 2013 in a Minot hospital.

Janice was born on June 29, 1944 in Minot to Carl and Helen (Tkachenko) Kabanuk. She was reared and educated in Minot. Janice was once married to Gary Phelps and they had two children Stacey and Juana. Janice married Floyd Fouchey on June 4, 1971 in Minot. They made their home in Minot where they owned and operated the Today and Yesterday Shop from 1986 until 1998. She especially enjoyed operating the business because of the people she met. Janice was forced to retire after 12 years due to health issues. She had continued to make her home in Minot where she especially enjoyed being a grandma and great grandma.

Janice especially enjoyed gardening, yard work, flowers, fishing and trips to the casino.

Janice is survived by her husband: Floyd Fouchey of Minot; children: Juana (Patrick) Peterson of Minot and Stacey Phelps of Rugby; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and siblings: Robert Kabanuk and Bonnie Kabanuk both of Minot as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Raymond and James Kabanuk.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park - Minot.
Visitation: Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
