Janette Timmreck, 88, Minot, died Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in a Velva care center.

Janette was born January 28, 1932 in Williston, ND to Jack and Clara (Storseth) Horab.  She spent the years of her youth in Williston and graduated from Williston High School in 1949.

Janette was united in marriage to Keith Timmreck on February 12, 1950 in Williston.  They lived in Williston until 1959, when they moved to Minot after Keith secured a job with the Burlington Northern Railroad.  This union was blessed with five children.

Janette was employed as a bookkeeper for Kentucky Fried Chicken for 13 years.  She retired in 1992.  She was part owner of Magic Squares for 15 years and volunteered her time for many years at the Trinity Gift Shop and Hostfest Office.

Janette was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and NARVRE.  Janette was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary and a past member of the Magic City Squares Dance Club.

Janette found enjoyment in dancing, crocheting and spending time in her garden.

Janette is survived by her children Gerald (Donna) Timmreck, Plymouth, MN, Kenneth (Marlene) Timmreck, Ione, WA, Marlys (John) Hrubos, Prospect, VA, Kathy Pinkerton, Macungie, PA and Kayleen (Chris) Vegh, Flemington, NJ; fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren; siblings Jackie Kliewer, Eugene, OR and Wilford (Helen) Horab, Oregon along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Janette was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Keith and brothers Willard and Wayne Horab.

Graveside Service:  11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, rural Mandan, ND
Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or Trinity Hospice, both of Minot.
