Jane Mae Trett, 78, Minot, formerly of McClusky, ND died Saturday, December 11, 2010, in a Minot Hospital.

Jane was born May 31, 1932 at McClusky, North Dakota, the daughter of Harris and Martha (Braunberger) Lang. She was raised and educated in McClusky.

Jane married Meinhardt Rennich in McClusky in 1950. Jane worked at the Sheridan County Sherriff\'s Office while Meinhardt served in the US Army in Korea. Meinhardt lost his life in Korea.

Jane was united in marriage to Harold Trett on May 15, 1953 in McClusky.

Jane and Harold lived in West Fargo until 1974, when they purchased a resort on White Earth Lake, Waubun, MN and later owned Curly\'s Corner. They moved to Detroit Lakes, MN and lived there until moving to Minot in 2009 to be closer to family.

Jane was a member of the Methodist Faith. She was also a former member of the Detroit Lakes Eagles Aerie. She enjoyed fishing, reading and doing crossword puzzles.

Her loving family includes: husband, Harold; sons: Terrance Trett, New Town, ND, Marty (Sherry) Trett, Minot, ND, Blair (Danette) Trett, Chandler, AZ; sister: Maida (Jerry) Gilbraith, Fargo, ND; sister-in-law: Joan Lang, Bismarck, ND; nine grandchildren: Leah (Troy) Hagen; Heather, Cameron, Rozaline, Cody, Biannca, Dustin, Darren, and Scotty Trett; two step-grandchildren: Ryan and Brady Randall; two great-grandchildren: Hudson and Henry Hagen, and several nieces and nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael, brother, Dick Lang, and step-grandson Lee Randall.
