Jacqueline Jane (Seiffert) Bennett, 65, passed away on April 22, 2026, at her home in Minot, ND.

Jackie was born in Bottineau, ND, to Violet (Johnson) and Donald Seiffert on April 14, 1961. She attended grade and high school in Westhope. During this time, she especially enjoyed playing basketball and was selected for All Region in her senior year. She was also confirmed at the Lutheran Church in Westhope.

Jackie had a zest for life even as a young girl and over the years she enjoyed camping, traveling, playing cards, spending time with friends and family, making many memories at the Seiffert farm every 4th of July and would cheer on the Chicago Bears over the years.

Jackie was married to Brad Bennett, this marriage later ended.

Jackie welcomed two sons into this world, Mitchel and Nicholas, whom she loved dearly.

For a time, Jackie lived in Estevan, SK and returned to North Dakota, most recently living in Minot. She worked various jobs over the years and had a particular eye for meticulous cleaning.

Jackie is survived by her father Donald Seiffert, Westhope, sons Mitchel, Scottsdale, AZ and Nick (Sadie), Estevan, SK, brother Todd (Lisa), Phoenix, AZ, sister Kelly (Stacy) Watson, Bakersfield, CA, and a special new granddaughter Sophia Violet, born May 21, 2026. Jackie is also survived by aunts and uncles, a niece, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by her mother Violet Seiffert, and her Johnson and Seiffert grandparents along with several aunts and uncles.

A private family ceremony will take place at the Westhope Cemetery.

A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at the Westhope Senior Center on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 2-5 PM. All are welcome.
