Irvin Scott Prough, 37, Minot, died on Monday, May 21, 2018 in a Minot hospital.

Irvin Scott Prough was born on November 22, 1980 in Minot to Irvin and Ellen (Groszmann) Prough. He was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1999.

Scott was most recently employed at Marketplace Foods as a courtesy clerk for the past 14 years. He especially enjoyed this position because he appreciated the many friendships among colleagues and customers that came with this job. Previously, he was employed at Walmart and Jake's Spice and Spirit.

Scott was a member of the Eagles Wings Community Fellowship Church. He especially enjoyed guitar and ukulele lessons at Jacobsen Music and spending time at the Force of Habit Hobby Shop. Also, he enjoyed gaming and music.

Scott's loving family includes his parents: Irvin and Ellen Prough of Minot; brother: Cory (Sarah) Prough of Hilo, Hawaii; nephews and nieces: Eli, Shaylin, Joshua & Madeline and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Service : 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Eagles Wings Community Fellowship, located at 101 16th St. S.W. - Minot.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorials are preferred to KALIX or Eagles Wings Community Fellowship.
