Helen Mae Tague , 95, Minot, died Friday, June 23, 2017 in a Minot nursing home.

Helen was born on March 4, 1922 in Minot to Frank and Theresa (Podjil) Busek. She was raised in Minot, graduating from Minot Model High School in 1940. She attended Minot Business College for one year and was then employed at PC Association for five years.

Helen married Arlo Olson on March 11, 1945 in Minot. They made their home in rural Des Lacs in Rolling Green Township until 1969, later moving to Minot. Arlo died in 1973.

Helen married Ernest Tague on May 23, 1975 at Zion Lutheran Church in Minot, where they lived until Ernest's death on August 7, 2009. Helen continued to reside in Minot.

Helen's hobbies included embroidery, crocheting, puzzles, bingo, reading, cooking, baking, cards and last but not least, scrabble. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Minot, and its Martha Circle, the Bohemian Lodge, and the Rolling Green Township Homemakers Club. Prior to her membership at Zion Lutheran Church, Helen was a 25-year member of Rose Valley Lutheran Church and was active in the Rose Valley Ladies Aide and served as its secretary. Many memories were made on Helen and Ernest's trips, especially to Las Vegas and Laughlin. She was a supportive Minnesota Twins fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Helen is survived by her loving children: Arla (David) Huser, Lester Prairie, MN, Marlene (David) Hale, Lebanon, CT; daughter-in-law: Judy Olson, West Fargo, ND; sister, Lucille Moffit, Minot, ND; sister-in-law, Catherine Busek, Bremerton, WA; stepchildren: Eugene (Cathy) Tague, Minot, Steve Tague, Sioux Falls, SD and Julie (Kevin) Pederson, Minot; grandchildren, Paula (Dan) Phipps, Andover, MN, Tim (Brenda) Johns, Crowley, TX, Steve (Erin) Johns, Denver, CO, Christine Parker, East Hampton, CT, Jeff (Julie) Parker, Coventry, CT, Amy (Kevin) McClafferty, Colchester, CT, Mark (Jolie) Olson, Fulshear, TX and Jennifer (Brooks) Pederson, West Fargo, ND; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Arlo and Ernest; son: David Olson; brothers: Joe, Charles, and Albert.

Funeral Service: Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, Minot.
Interment will take place at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: one hour prior to the start of the service at the church.
