Harriett J. Score Hasledalen, 92, Minot, formerly of Carpio, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 under hospice care in a Minot Hospital.
Harriett was born July 21, 1915 at Hartland, North Dakota, the daughter of Andrew and Minda (Peterson) Bakhagen. The family moved to Montana when Harriett was an infant. Harriett survived the flu of 1918, which claimed the life of her mother. She and her sister, Nolen, then lived with their grandparents, Haagen and Josephine Bakhagen of Carpio, where they were raised and educated.
Harriett was united in marriage to Ingman Score on July 23, 1932 at Minot. They made their home at Carpio, where they farmed until his death September 3, 1966. She moved to California for a short time, where she was employed as a waitress. She returned to Minot and was united in marriage to Arthur Hasledalen on May 13, 1968. He died November 21, 1986.
Harriett was a longtime member of the Minot Eagles, Minot V.F.W. and American Legion Auxiliaries, and was a lifetime member of the Minot Moose Lodge. She enjoyed reading and playing cards.
Her loving family includes : Daughters: Barbara (Cary)Voss, Newcastle, WY and Gloria Pierce, Columbia, MO; Grandchildren: Stephanie Pierce and Kenneth (Lisa) Pierce, Debra Bergman, Penny (Terry) King, Jackie (Mark) Smith, Donna Lee, Dan (Laura) Lee and Janelle Lee, Bill Hansen and Shari (Mike) Ferguson; Ten Great-Grandchildren; Four Great-Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Harriett was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughters: Orva Cotton and Dorothy Lee; grandson, Michael Herzberg and sister, Nolen Lamb.

: Friday, June 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot;
Interment:
Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot;
Visitation
: Thursday from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to Trinity Hospice or Trinity Guest House in lieu of flowers and plants.
