Harold Grosz , 77, Minot, died Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in his home.

Harold Grosz was born in McClusky, ND on August 19, 1941, the son of Henry and Martha (Walz) Grosz. He grew up on the family farm in Sheridan County.  He attended country school through the eighth grade and graduated from McClusky High School in 1960.

Harold worked various jobs and was a drummer for many years in numerous bands. In 1963, he moved with his parents to Minot where he worked for Allied Van Lines, Harvey Enterprises, Minot Steam Laundry and last as a delivery driver for American Linens until his retirement.

Harold married Pearl Edwardson Fyllesvold on February 28, 1973. They made their home in Minot and were currently residents of Edgewood.

Harold's hobbies included hunting and fishing during his younger years. He was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church and the Moose Club of Minot, where he served as an officer and spent many nights on the dance floor with Pearl.  He will be missed by all who shared in his life.

Harold is survived by his wife, Pearl of Minot; step-children Cynthia (John) Hall of Oklahoma, Dwight (Wilma) Fyllesvold, Minot, Deanna (Duane) Bakken, Duluth, MN, Dale Fyllesvold, Bismarck and Darlene (Steve) Fournier, Minot; fourteen grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren with a fourth due in January; sister, Marcella (Curtis) Renfrow, nephews, Wayne Renfrow and Walter (Angie) Renfrow, two great-nephews, Alex (Sara) Renfrow and Rayson Renfrow.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Martha Grosz, great-grandson Nathan Sims and his favorite uncle, Philip Grosz.

Per Harold's request, a private family service will be held at Thomas Family Funeral Home.
