Gordon Louis Lien , 76, Minot, ND, passed away on December 9th, 2024 in Mesa, AZ.

Gordy was born in Minot, ND, on June 24th, 1948. He grew up in and graduated from Plaza, ND, in 1966. In 1969 he married Leanda (Lee) Prill. That same year he enlisted in the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1975.

His son, Kristopher, was born in 1971; his daughter, Jennifer, was born in 1980.

Gordy farmed near Plaza, ND, and worked in civil service at the Minot Air Force Base retiring in 2010.

Gordy enjoyed traveling with his wife, Lee, and spending the winter months in Mesa, AZ.

He is survived by his wife Lee, son Kris (Kathryn) Lien of Minot, ND, daughter Jen (Craig Haskins) Lien of Williston, ND, granddaughter Breanna (Hogan) McDonald of Minneapolis, MN, brother Gary (Dee) Lien of Plaza, ND, sister Nancy Lien of Mandan, ND, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Nona Lien.

Celebration of Gordy Lien: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Bread of Life Lutheran Church, Minot.
Family Interment: East Cemetery, Plaza, ND
