Obituary

Glenice Mae Cipriani, 50, Bismarck and formerly of Minot, died Monday, July 19, 2010 in a Rochester, MN hospital.

Glenice was born March 23, 1960, in Rugby, ND to Glen and Dorothy (Lynnes) Broten. She graduated from Unity High School- Petersburg, ND in 1978 and continued her education at Aaker's Business College and at Meyer Vocational Technical School where she received specialized training in Industrial Safety.

She worked various jobs during her life, but the most rewarding for her was working in construction. She was a concrete finisher and foreman by trade and loved every minute of it.

Glenice will always be remembered as a strong, compassionate woman who had a heart of gold. She would have given the shirt off her back if she needed to. She had the ability to light up a room with her contagious laugh and beautiful smile. Everyone that has been blessed to know her, loved her, and she loved them. She taught her 5 children the values of integrity, courage, strength, faith, love, and to enjoy the simple pleasures in life and is admired for that.

She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, baking, cooking, reading, and gardening. She was very artistic and was always exploring new craft projects.

Glenice is survived by her children, Deidre Steinert, Bismarck, Donovan (Kalynn) Hudson, Stanley, DeJan (Chris) Kulseth, Minot, Danielle Metz, Bismarck, Dorion Cipriani, Bismarck; mother Dorothy Broten, Niagara, sisters: Gloria (Jack) Halstenson, Niagara, Helen (Larry) Entze, Beulah, Joanne Roblewsky, Minot, brothers: Curtis Broten, Minot, Ernest Broten, Willow, Alaska, grandchildren, Kylee and Emilie Steinert, Bismarck, Anya Hudson, Stanley, Austin, Hunter, Jasmin, Brooke, and Madison Kulseth, Minot, Nellijun Kaseman, Bismarck, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Glen Broten and sister Connie Broten.

Funeral Service : Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Hope Lutheran Church, Surrey.
Interment will be in the Ox Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery rural Rolette.
Visitation: Friday from 2:00-7:00 p.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred.
