Genevieve Taylor , formerly of Minot, ND died on November 18, 2023 at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Denham Springs, LA.

Gen was born on July 10, 1926, to William and Helen (Dougherty) Heimbush in Omemee, ND. The family later moved to Lansford, ND in 1934, where Gen was educated and graduated from Lansford High School in 1944. After graduation Gen moved to Minot, ND and participated in the cadet nurse program at St. Joseph's Hospital Nursing School.  She graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1947.

Gen married David P. Pritchett in 1947.   They had three children and made their home in Minot where Gen was a nurse on the OB Floor at St. Joseph's Hospital for many years. Gen later married O.B. Taylor of Pick City, ND in 1978.  They made their home in Pick City prior to moving to Minot in 1980 after they retired. Gen moved to Denham Springs, LA in 2014 where her daughter lived. Gen's hobbies were sewing, square dancing, and bowling.

Gen was preceded in death by her parents: William and Helen Heimbush; sister: Holly Berg; brother: William Heimbush; son: David Pritchett and husbands: David Pritchett and OB Taylor.

Gen is survived by her son: Dennis (Barbara Amundson) Pritchett of Sun City West, AZ; daughter: Dianne Pritchett Glascock of Denham Springs, LA and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private burial and graveside blessing will be held at a future date.
