Gary Lee Tofflemire , 64, Lansford, ND, formerly of Minot, died on Monday, March 5, 2012 in a Minot hospital.

Gary was born on December 12, 1947, in Minot to Earl and Vivian (Riffey) Tofflemire. He graduated from Minot High School in 1965 and was once married to Kathy Clark in June 1968.

Gary worked for A & D Upholstery and owned Home Service Center, both of Minot. He also worked in the lumber business in Sawyer and Glenburn and in the construction industry for many years. Gary also worked for North 83 Fireworks/Surplus in Minot for 19 years.

Gary married Denise Frye on September 14, 2008. They made their home in Lansford, ND.

Gary is survived by his wife, Denise, daughter, Kerry Briss, Fargo; grandsons, Caole and Devin Briss, Fargo; and stepsons, Kenneth (Deanne) Stevens, Minot and Troy (Leslie) Stevens, Carpio, ND.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

At Gary's request, his body will be donated to the UND anatomical gift program for medical study and no public services will be held.
Memorials are preferred to Trinity Cancer Care Center in Minot.
