Gail Clarice Thiele , 63, Burlington, ND formerly of the Montrose, MN area died Sunday, January 21, 2024 at her home.

Gail was born July 16, 1960 in Buffalo, MN the daughter of Patrick and Gladys (Kucera) Casey.  She was raised and educated in rural Wright County and united in marriage to Gary Thiele on July 28, 1979 in Waverly, MN.

They made their home Montrose, Minnesota for many years. From this union 3 sons were born.  In addition to caring for the family she also held various occupations throughout the years.

Gary and Gail moved to Burlington, ND in 2016 to be nearer their son, Jesse and his family.

She had many hobbies, including crochet and different projects making bags and purses.

She loved being a grandma and was very proud of all her grandchildren. Even when she couldn't be there, she would always want to know how everyone was doing.

Her loving family includes, husband of 44 years, Gary; children, Aaron (Alicia) of Rice, MN, Jesse (Sarah) of Newburg, Chad (Tami), Buffalo, MN; 6 grandchildren: Kyersten, Dylan, Isaac, Bryson, Cody and Viola; her mother, Gladys of Annadale, MN; siblings, Joyce of Cokato, MN, Ray (Terry) of Annandale, MN and Rick of Pierz, MN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gail was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Casey.

A celebration of Gail's life will be held February 2nd from 6-8 pm at the KC Hall, located at 301 5th St N, Waverly, MN 55390.
