Fred Daiss, 50, Drake and Minot, died Sunday, December 13, 2015, in a Minot hospital.

Fred was born July 8, 1965, in Sacramento, CA to Terry and Sally (Shipp) Daiss. He was raised and educated in Sacramento during his youth.

Over the years, he lived in Wyoming and North Dakota, settling in the community of Drake in 2004. He was a jack of all trades working in the construction industry during his life.

Fred was a biker, plain and simple. He loved the open road and the freedom he found on his 84' Harley Softail. His passion led to many friendships over the years and he valued every single one.

Second only to his motorcycle, were his dogs, a.k.a. his children, Bandito and Dozer. They were often found with him enjoying the whistle of the wind on a ride through the prairie of ND. He will be missed by all who shared in his life.

Fred is survived by his parents, Terry and Sally, Casper, WY; sister, Sheila Hartneck, Casper, WY and brothers, Joe Daiss, Casper, WY, Tony Daiss, Oklahoma City, OK and Terry Lee Daiss II, Sacramento and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation: Saturday from noon until 2:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
