Frank Bice , 91, Minot died on Saturday, December 16, 2023 in a Minot nursing home.

Franklin Henry Bice was born on February 25, 1932 in Terry, Montana to Clarence and Erna (Mattoon) Bice.  He was raised and educated in Terry, MT and assisted his parents with raising his younger siblings.  As a young adult Frank was employed as a construction worker in Montana. He was drafted into the U.S. Army on January 10, 1952.  He served in Company B of the 50th Signal Battalion Corps prior to his honorable discharge as a Corporal on December 2, 1953.

Frank married Patricia Lucier on September 10, 1956 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Minot.  They made their home in Minot where he was employed by Montana-Dakota Utilities, and as a Civil Service employee at Minot Air Force Base for thirty years before retiring in 1996 following eight years at Northern States Power Company.

Frank was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, Moose Lodge, Eagles Aerie, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 63 years, V.F.W., American Legion and D.A.V.  He especially enjoyed fishing, traveling, and making fishing lures.

Frank's loving family includes his wife of 67 years: Patricia "Pat"; sons: Dennis Bice of Minot and Dean  Bice of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren:  Jeff Bice, Jill Ballesteros, Jordan Bice, Jenna Bice, DeAnna Hetterich, David Bice, Dakota Bice, Aquoyah Bice, Cheveyo Bice, Chayton Bice, Shiye Bice, Alleshanee Bice, Ashley Wadsworth, Kayla Dinsdale and Justin Solum; 35 great grandchildren; siblings:  Ann Farris, Janet Bice, Nancy Frye and Marian Bice; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Russell, Neal, Dale, Howard, Lynn, Hazel, Florence, Helen, Judy, Marlene and Linda.

Mass of Christian Burial: December 28, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church – Minot, with fellowship and lunch to follow.  A livestream of the service may be accessed by using www.mtmsales.net/thomas
Vigil Prayer Service: December 27th at 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home – Minot.
Visitation: December 27th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Graveside Service with Military Honors: December 28th at 1:00 p.m. in the Veterans Section of Rosehill Memorial Park – Minot.
