Forrest Hatchard , 47, lifelong Minot resident, died November 9, 2021, in his home.

Forrest was born May 26, 1974, in Minot, ND to Loren and Betty (Weiler) Hatchard. He attended Minot High School and completed his education at Minot State University.

Forrest worked in financing at Don Bessette Motors and as a commercial lender for Gate City Bank in Minot. He was once married to Jennifer Burdick.

Forrest enjoyed time spent in the outdoors hunting and fishing. Summer memories included time spent at Lake Sakakawea and on many local golf courses around Minot with family and friends. He cared deeply for his family and was a trusted friend to many, almost to a fault. He will be missed dearly by those who knew him as a son, brother and friend.

Forrest is survived by his parents, Loren and Betty Hatchard, Minot; sister Kelly (Michael) Monteith, New Richmond, WI and brother Mark (Pam) Hatchard, Carrollton, TX, along with many lifelong friends that included his german shorthaired dogs, Ellie and Finn.

Private Memorial Service will be held at Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Public booksigning:  Friday, November 12, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Private Inurnment:  Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to Souris Valley Animal Shelter of Minot.
