Fawn A. Unruh, 67, Minot, died Friday, July 24, 2026 in a Minot nursing home.

Fawn was born October 21, 1958, in Rugby, North Dakota to Leroy and Darlene (Humble) Larson. She was raised and educated in Rugby, graduating from Rugby High School with the class of 1977.

Fawn moved to South Dakota in 1983, where she would spend the next two decades of her life in the Black Hills area. Fawn earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal in 1990.

She returned to North Dakota in 2002 and worked as a crew transporter for PTI in Minot.

Fawn was a lover of music and never missed an episode of Dateline! She will be missed by all who shared her life.

Fawn is survived by her children DeVangie (Todd Caldwell) Unruh Quick, Sioux Falls, SD, Joshua Unruh, Box Elder, SD and Krystle (Joshua Rushing) Unruh Hodge, Gilbert, AZ; stepchildren Larry Unruh, Otto, WY, Ruth Unruh Jones, Independence, MO and Rita Unruh, Sunburst, MT; grandchildren Kaeleigh Quick, Jaydan Quick, Riley Curtis, Lincoln Curtis, Penelope Curtis and Lyle Unruh; great-granddaughter Stevie Wilde; brother Larry Grieb, Boyceville, WI and sister Laura Peterson, Valley City, ND along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Fawn was preceded in death by her mother Darlene, stepfather Floyd Halverson and brother Terry Grieb.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
