Eunice Cecelia Halling, 95, Minot and formerly of rural Wolford died on Thursday, November 3, 2016 in a Minot healthcare center.

Eunice was born on January 22, 1921 in Minot to Clemens and Celia (Roen) Klosterman. She was reared on a farm in Ensign Township near Glenburn, ND, graduated from Glenburn High School in 1939 and attended a business college in Park River, ND. As a young adult she was employed as a secretary for various businesses in ND, WA and in Minneapolis, MN.

Eunice married Wayne Halling on March 22, 1969 in Minot. They made their home on the Halling Family Farm near Wolford, ND where they raised small grains. They moved to Minot in 1994. Wayne died on January 20, 2007. Eunice moved to the The View in 2008 and most recently had been a resident of Manorcare/Minot Health and Rehab.

Eunice was a member of Bread of Life Lutheran Church and a former member of the Cando Lutheran Church and Grace Presbyterian Church - Minneapolis. She especially enjoyed reading, dancing, gardening and traveling.

Eunice is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings: Earl (Arlene) Klosterman and Doris (Ralph Sr.) Christensen and nephew: Kent Christensen.

Celebration of the Life of Eunice Halling: Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Bread of Life Lutheran Church - Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park - Minot.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the Bread of Life Lutheran Church - Minot.
Memorials are preferred to Bread of Life Lutheran Church, Halling Cemetery Association or an organization of the donor's choice.
