Emma Moll, 91, Minot, formerly of Raub, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 in a Garrison Nursing Home.

Emma was born November 25, 1919 on the family farm, near Garrison, North Dakota, the daughter of Christian and Amelia (Boger) Abel. She was raised and educated at rural, Emmet, ND and assisted with the operation of the family farm following her education. She also assisted with other area families working as a hired girl doing various jobs.

Emma was united in marriage to Everett Moll on January 5, 1938 at Garrison. They made their home on a farm near Raub, where they lived and farmed throughout the years, raising poultry and cattle, along with growing small grains. They were faithful members of the Garrison Church of God. They retired in 1989, when they moved to Minot. Everett died January 6, 2006. Emma had entered the Benedictine Living Center of Garrison in March of 2008. She and her family were very happy with the love and wonderful care she had received there for the past few years.

Emma was a member of West Minot Church of God, where she did volunteer work after moving to Minot. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, tending to her flowers, along with sewing.

Her loving family includes: son, Arnold (GorJean) Moll, Raub, ND; grandchildren, Perry (Margo) Moll, Minot, Nathan (Lydia) Moll, Garrison; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Cameron Moll; sister, Erna Seidler Wood, Minot; brother-in-law, Adolph Weishaar, Minot; a number of nieces and nephews.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Henry and William Abel and sisters, Hertha Jungling, Frieda Meiers, Ida Moll, Estella Weishaar and infant, Anna.

Funeral service: Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in West Minot Church of God.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND
Visitation: Wednesday from 2:00-7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
