Emily Leanne Burch, nee Bailey because she is and always will be Bailey to us, was born and raised in Minot ND by her mother, Andrea Bailey and sister, Karen Hess. As a child, she was very unique with her own sense of style and free way of life.

She passed away at the young age of 31 and while her death was unexpected, it was after a battle with addiction that she dealt with throughout her life.

Emma was able to have a happy, healthy life for many years while being a loving mother to both Hannah Dupont and Devlin Dupont, wonderful partner to Kyle Dupont, an amazing friend and sister to Karen Hess and niece to Adina Crites, but ultimately addiction took her from all of us on September 28th, 2023.

To all that knew Emma, she would do anything for the people she cared about and when she loved, she loved hard. We have always been so proud of her. She deserved a long and happy life. Even in her last days, she continued the tradition our mother had always shown us of feeding others. She loved to cook and make people happy. To take care of everyone.
