Obituary

Eloise Mary Jackson, 82, Minot died on September 2, 2012 at the Benedictine Living Center in Garrison.

Eloise was born on May 4, 1930 in Niagra Falls, NY to Raymond and Mary Ellen Jackson. She was reared and educated in Manchester, England. As a young adult she was employed as a civilian secretary for the United States Air Force. She returned to the USA during the early 1950's and settled in San Francisco where she was employed by the Ore Ida Potato Company. She took a break from the working world to be a fulltime mother and homemaker prior to becoming a secretary for the Grace Cathedral Episcopal Church and its homeless shelter. She retired in 1986. When her health began to fail she moved to Minot to be nearer her son and resided at the Henry Towers prior to moving to the Benedictine Living Center earlier in 2012.

Eloise attended All Saints Episcopal Church- Minot and enjoyed knitting, reading and a recent trip to the Philippines.

Eloise is survived by her sons: Maxwell (Joyce) Jackson of Great Falls, MT and Gilbert (Lori) Jackson; grandchildren: Sarah, Lawrence, William and Cheyenne.

Eloise was preceded in death by her parents.

A service was held at the Benedictine Living Center in Garrison.
