Elizabeth 'Liz' Marie Dehnke, 17, Logan, died Friday, February 3, 2012 in a pedestrian-train accident in Logan, ND.

Liz was born April 11, 1994, the daughter of Mike Dehnke and Vanessa Landis. She attended school in Sawyer, Velva and Minot, where she was a senior at Minot High. She was looking forward to a medical career.

Liz worked at Trinity Homes in the food service department in 2011. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was active in its youth group. She also loved working in the nursery at the church. Liz was creative and bright and was not afraid to share her views. Writing was one of her many talents that she used to express herself.

Family was always a priority and her relationship with g-ma and g-pa was one that cannot be put into words. I love you's were many and never forgotten on her way out the door. We will always miss and love you our precious daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and friend.

Her loving family includes her parents, Mike Dehnke and Vanessa Landis, both of Minot; grandparents, Gordon and Livona Dehnke, Logan, ND; brothers, Anthony Arndt and Charles Conrade, both of Minot; sisters, Tory (Wayne) Minesta, Epping, ND, Michelle Conrade, Harvey, ND and Kenessa Burkle, Minot; aunts, Lynda Dehnke and Janet (Paul) Franz and cousins Page and Julia Franz.

Liz was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Mary Landis, aunt, Maxine Conelly and uncle, Bobby Sean.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, Minot, ND
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND
Visitation: Wednesday, February 8, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to First Presbyterian Church Nursery.
