Dorothy Ottilga Panasuk , 81, 812 12th St. N.W. - Minot died on Thursday, August 31, 2006 in a Minot nursing home.

Dorothy was born on July 19, 1925 in Neche, ND to William and Ottilga (Stegman) Lembke. She was raised and educated in Neche and attended Mayville State College. As a young adult she was employed as a teacher at rural schools in the Neche area prior to working at a restaurant for Harvey Duvall. She returned to school at the Interstate Business College in Fargo and worked in the wholesale office of Allis Chalmers parts department in Fargo.

Dorothy was once married to Philip L. Panasuk at Neche, ND. They made their home in Minot, where she was employed as a cook at the Grand International Inn of Minot for many years.

Dorothy was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church - Minot. Her hobbies and special interests included gardening, bird watching and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include: Children: Orrin Panasuk (Vicky Helmers - fiancé) and Gary (Jan) Panasuk both of Minot; Bonnie (Ray) Williams of Blanchard OK; Six Grandchildren: Kendall and Julie Beller, Tyler, Cody and Chance Panasuk and Derrick Olson; Sisters: Magdeline (Jake) Reimer of Hensel ND, Evelyn (Lyle) Petsinger of Jefferson City, MO and Helen (Earl) Jackson of Fargo; Brother: Rudy Lembke of Fargo and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Laurie who died in 1973.

Funeral Service : Tuesday September 5, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church - Minot.
Interment: Sunset Memorials Gardens - Minot.
Visitation: Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home - Minot.
Memorials are preferred to an organization of the donors choice.
