Doris Repnow , 84, Minot, died Friday, November 20, 2020 in a Minot hospital.
Doris was born July 11, 1936 in Turtle Lake, ND to Rudolph and Ida (Korner) Heinle. She called Turtle Lake home during her formative years and graduated from Turtle Lake High School in 1954.
Doris was united in marriage to Burnell Repnow on August 1, 1954. They made their home in Turtle Lake following their marriage. Doris worked as a secretary for Mobile Bulk Oil Services.
They moved to Minot in 1954. Doris was hired in 1971 as a secretary for Minot Public Schools, working at North Hill Elementary until her retirement in 1988. Burnell died December 15, 2013.
Doris was a faithful member of Faith United Methodist Church, where she was active within the church women's group. Doris loved to participate in the church's Christmas cantata and was a member of the church choir. She also maintained memberships during her active years in the Eagle's Auxiliary, Flickertail Homemakers, and the Red Hat Dolls Society, all of Minot.
Doris found joy in time spent reading, knitting, and crocheting. She will be remembered for her cooking and baking that blessed family and many friends. She enjoyed traveling to California to visit her daughter's family and valued the time spent at their cabin on Rice Lake. She was her grandchildren's biggest fan at all their activities and was so very proud of her entire family. Doris will be missed by all who were blessed to share in her life.
