Donna M. Lochthowe, 92, Minot, died Friday, November 1, 2019 in her home.

Donna was born April 30, 1927 in Minot, ND to Edwin and Ethel (Stearns) Schram. She attended Minot Model High School.

Donna was united in marriage to Donald Lochthowe on October 14, 1944 in Glendive, Montana. They made their home in Eureka Township of Ward County on Don's grandfather's farmstead. This union was blessed with four children. Together they farmed small grains and raised cattle for the next 48 years until retiring and moving to Minot in 1992. Donald passed away November 5, 2005.

She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and its Confraternity of Christian Mothers. Donna also was a charter member of the Eagles Aerie Auxiliary and held a membership to the Elks Lodge, all of Minot. She was an avid bowler and an excellent cook who loved to bake. Dinner at Olive Garden or a home-style meal at Homesteaders with Donald filled many evenings. Traveling and interior decorating were also on her list of favorite things to do. She will be deeply missed.

Donna is survived by her children Judith (Vern) Zimbelman, St. Paul, MN and Ron Loctao, Minot; grandchildren Tamara (David) Edwinson, Farmington, MN and Kristi (Keith) Sell, St. Paul, MN; great-grandchildren Adam, Jacob and Emily Edwinson, Austin and Kailey Sell along with many nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, son and daughter-in-law Leon Leroy Lochthowe, US Marine Corps and Betty (Berg) Lochthowe; grandchildren Ricky Lochthowe and Kimberly Lochthowe; son Gary Michael Lochthowe, US Marine Corps; and an infant sister Doris Lynn.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday.
Memorials are preferred to St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot Disabled American Veteran (DAV) Chapter or to an organization of the donors' choice.
