Donna Rae was born on February 16, 1951 in Rolette, ND to Paul and Nellie (Evans) Byre.  She was raised and educated in Kramer and graduated from Minot High School in 1969. She continued her education at Josef's School of Hair Design where she received specialized training as a beautician and cosmetologist. During her adult years she was employed as a hairstylist, cosmetologist, cashier and receiving clerk at Wal-Mart and was a caregiver for her parents, children and grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her children: Romi (Andres) Melendez, Kyli (Joey) VanWinkle, Natalie (Kevin) Ploof, Charissa (Mike) Hamm and Gabrielle Dove all of Minot and Stefanie (John) Ridout of Iowa; twenty-two grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Gail Braaten of Minot, Louise Osterman of Montana and Sharon Munyer of Idaho and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Marvin, Paul, Beverly and Mavis.

Donna insisted that there be no service.

A Private Interment Service will take place at a later date.
