Donald Korner , 73, Minot, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in a Minot nursing home.

Donald was born April 3, 1951 in Minot, North Dakota to John d. and Anna (Lund) Korner. He was raised and educated in Minot until he joined the US Navy.

Donald was blessed with two sons. They made their home in California.

Donald made a career in transportation logistics and manufacturing until moving back home to Minot in 2005 for a more relaxed pace of life. He retired in 2013.

His hobbies included fishing and studying history. He will be remembered by many for his humor.

Donald is survived by his sons Jody Korner and Aaron Korner, both of San Antonio, TX; a grandson and brothers Larry Korner, Williston, ND, Gene Korner and Joseph Korner, both of Minot.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ronald, Randy and Leslie Korner.

Service to Honor Donald Korner: Monday, April 7, 2025 at the Apostolic Faith Church, Minot, officiated by Rev. Jesse Starr.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service in the church.
