Donald Craig "Don" Conant, 58, Minot died on Tuesday, December 18, 2017 in his home following a courageous battle with Lung Cancer.

Don was born on March 23, 1959 in Libby, MT to Donald and Pauline (Gawryluk) Conant. He was reared and educated in Velva until 1971 when the family moved to Minot where he graduated from Minot High School in 1977. As a young adult he moved to Seattle and attended Lake Washington Technical College where he received an Associate's Degree in Business Management. He was employed as a professional painter in the Seattle area from 1988 - 2000. He was once married to Susie Doll and Terri Hopkins. He returned to Minot in 2000 and owned and operated Conant Painting. He retired in 2017 due to ill health.

Don was a member of the Professional Painters Local 300 and the Church of Christ. He was a Minnesota Vikings fan, enjoyed fishing and was a hot-rod and muscle car enthusiast.

Don is survived by his children: Jamie Conant of Minot, Joshua Conant of Bismarck and Zachary Conant of Everett, WA; grandchildren: Emma, Anna, Lilly and Jace; siblings: Duane Olson of Jamestown and Karen (Dave) Hoffman of Pennsylvania and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Gary Conant and Mark Olson and grandson: Aaron.

Booksigning: Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home - 304 South Main St. - Minot.
Following the celebration at 4:00 p.m. there will be a time of fellowship and sharing of memories at On the Rocks - 614 3rd St. NE. All family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
Graveside Service: Later in the spring or summer of 2018 at the Columbarium in Rosehill Memorial Park - Minot.
