Domingo Juarez, Sr., 79, Minot, formerly of Williston and Montana, died Friday, August 14, 2009 in a Minot Hospital.

Domingo was born January 26, 1930 in Kerrville, Texas, the son of Francisco and Guadalupe (Rodriguez) Juarez. He was raised in Kerrville, until he moved with his family to Mexico at an early age. In 1945, he lived in Greeley, Co and worked at sugar beet farms in that area. In 1947, he moved to Sidney, MT to work for sugar beet farmers in that area. In 1953, he became employed with Ruebble-Jacobson Construction Company doing construction work in Montana and Williston until 1970, when he moved to Minot. He became employed with North Star Steel locally until retiring in 1995.

He had attended the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting, along with golfing activities, which included selling used golf balls throughout the summers. Domingo will be missed by his family and all that knew him.

His loving family includes : a marriage to Mary Rose Longee, from this union, their children are;Domingo (LuAnn) Juarez, Jr., Granville, Juan (Cheyenne) Juarez, Thornton, CO, Tony Juarez, West Fargo, ND, Rosa Juarez, Albuquerque, NM; stepchildren, Wilma (Arvin) Huravitch, Williston and Gerald Longee, Grand Forks; one child, Lupe Juarez, Grand Forks, ND, from a marriage to Bernice Longie. Domingo also has Twenty-five grandchildren, Nineteen great grandchildren, and a half -brother and half-sister in Mexico.

Domingo was preceded in death by his parents, son, Alberto "Beto" Juarez, and a sister.

Funeral service : Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Interment : Granville Community Cemetery.
Visitation: Tuesday from 9:00a.m. until the service.
