Dolores Leatrice Bergan, 94, Minot, formerly of Rugby, died Saturday, March 11, 2017 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Dolores was born August 29, 1922 at Noonan, North Dakota, the daughter of David and Ruby (Wissbrod) Baukol. The family moved to Cando for a short time, before moving to Rugby in 1934, where she was raised and graduated from Rugby High School in 1940.

Dolores was united in marriage to James Bergan on May 2, 1945 at Havre, Montana. They made their home in Rugby, where she was employed with Bailey's Drug Store and the local ASCS Office. He died on June 8, 1979. Dolores was a resident of the Haaland Home until 2008, when she moved to Minot and became a resident at Emerald Court and later Trinity Homes.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Rugby.

Dolores' loving family includes, children, Doug (Patsy) Bergan, Minot; Vicki (Larry) Wurgler, Fargo, ND; Dan (Connie) Bergan, Jamestown, ND; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; 9 ; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Joyce and brothers, Fay and Duain.

At the request of the family there will not be a service or visitation.
