Dewaine Dickey, 84, Minot, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Dewaine was born May 6, 1928 at Minot, North Dakota the son of Frank and Clara (Northhouse) Dickey.

He was raised on a farm near Max and educated at schools near there. Dewaine moved to Minot and was employed by Gimbles Caf, the GreenThumb work program and the Great Northern Railroad throughout the years.

Dewaine enjoyed walking with his twin-brother, Dorman throughout Minot, along with playing a game of pool and bowling at North Hill Bowling Alley.

He is survived by his sister, Dori Bachmeier, Flushing, MI, brother, Glenn Dickey, Minot and his companion, Julie Lamphear, Minot; along with a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dewaine was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers; to include his twin brother Dorman, and one sister.

Graveside service: Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11:30 am. in Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Wednesday from Noon-5:00 p.m.in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
