Dennis Heath , 64, Minot died Tuesday, February 16, 2016, in a Minot nursing home.

Dennis was born March 4, 1951, to Emil and Katie (Derheim) Heath in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School.

Dennis served in the US Marines. Following his service, he returned to Minot where he was employed by Ferralgas Company in Minot as a truck driver in the 1970's. A medical condition prevented Dennis from continuing his career in trucking. He moved to Montana and began working as a ranch hand through the 1980's. He returned to Minot and spent the latter part of his working years in construction for Larry Gullickson.

Dennis was united in marriage to Sharon Brillhart on January 31, 2002 in Minot, where they made their home. He attended First Assembly of God in Minot.

He was often found with a fishing pole in hand and was known to participate in the morning coffee conversation at Schatz Truckstop with his many friends. He will be missed by all who shared in his life.

Dennis's family includes his loving wife of 14 years, Sharon Heath, Minot; children, Katie Heath, Travis Heath and Denise Olson, all of Minot and Cody Heath, Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Samantha, Joshua and Nicolas Heath, all of Minot and stepchildren, Joshua Pennington, Billings, MT, Sarah Pennington, Roundup, MT and Andrea (Scott) Goffena, Roundup, MT.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Dennis's Life: 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2016, at First Assembly of God in Minot.
Visitation: Sunday, February 21, 2016, from noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred.
