Delila Holtham, 65, Minot, and formerly of Westhope and Bottineau died Monday, November 17, 2014 in a Minot nursing home.

Delila was born on October 10, 1949 in Neodesha, Kansas, to Herman and Gwenneth (Taylor) White. She attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church School in Turlock, California.

Delila had her first son David Earl Parma on April 8, 1968 and her first daughter Carol Lee Glass on July 7, 1969. Delila then married Walter Charles Fakes and had her second son Walter Charles Fakes Jr. on October 1, 1970. Delila gave birth to her fourth child (second daughter) Shawnea Rachelle Fakes on September 6, 1971.

Delila was a stay at home mother due to her oldest child's, David, disability (autism). Delila moved to Bottineau, North Dakota in 2007. She then moved to St. John (Quebec) Canada with her husband Denis Saumier in 2008. Delila moved to Westhope, North Dakota in February of 2012 and most recently resided at Trinity Homes.

Delila's hobbies were playing bingo, baking, crocheting and painting.

Delila is survived by her children Shawnea Fakes (Joe Ramer), Mohall, ND, Walter C. (Kelly) Fakes, Chowchilla, CA, Carol Cummings, Henderson, NV and David Parma, Fresno, CA; nine grandchildren, Tiffany, Amanda, Charles, Mellissa, Elizabeth, JD, Jennifer, Taylor and Megan; four great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kamerson, Nicolas and Logan and father: Herman White.

Delila was preceded in death by her mother Gwenneth Lee Taylor.
