DeeMaris L. McCarty , 66, Minot, formerly of Sawyer; passed away on January 6, 2008 in her home.

DeeMaris was born on April 10, 1941 in Minot, ND, to Everett and Henrietta (Scofield) Annis. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1959. She was married to Jack McCarty on June 30, 1960.

DeeMaris is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Jack McCarty and six children; Jay (Emily) McCarty, TN, DeeMaris (Rod) Buckingham, MN, Lori (Jamie) Nelson, CA, Kelly (Darin) Opperude, Wendy (Tracy) Snyder, Patrick (Cammy) McCarty, all of Minot, ND; 18 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; mother, Henrietta Annis, and 2 sisters.

DeeMaris was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, father, infant brother.

Memorial Service : Thursday, January 10, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., in River of Life, Assembly of God, Minot, 400 Main St. N.
Visitation: Wednesday, January 8, 2008, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., in the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
