Debra Ann Martin Perry (Eagle Flies High Woman) , 66, Minot, died Thursday, March 26, 2020 in her home.

Debra was born August 10, 1953 in Belcourt, ND to George and Irene (Boyer) Martin. She spent her youth in Washington State and attended school at Washington High School in Tacoma, WA.

Debra moved back to North Dakota in the summer of 2008. She made a lifetime of memories the last twelve years that she spent with her loving companion, Dennis Mock.

Debra loved life. She was always happy, smiling and took a positive approach to life. People loved to be in her company as she always was quick to compliment others. She loved the outdoors, bonfires with s'mores and a cold glass of lemonade while sitting outside on a warm summer night. She also passed the time with a good book, a fishing pole, doing crafts or finding a treasure at a yard sale. She blessed many with the bounty of her cooking and baking abilities over the years. Sunday mornings were reserved for blueberry pancakes for her grandchildren. Debra loved to decorate her home for holidays with Halloween and Christmas being her favorites. She would dance around the kitchen while cooking Christmas dinner and listening to tunes of the holidays. Debra loved her family deeply and valued the teaching of her culture to her grandchildren. She didn't take anything for granted and always taught her family to live life to the fullest. She will be missed by all who cared in her life.

Debra is survived by her daughters Tina Perry and Paula (Gumecindo) Herrera; grandchildren Cassanda (Felipe) Hernandez, Linzze (Delano) Ortiz, Evan (Emma) Dominguez, Emily Dominguez, Whitney Perry, and Adavien, Silviana and Ava Herrera-Perry; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Kaliq, and Vanessa Hernandez, Khamel Khloe and Winter Dominguez; mother, Irene Boyer; siblings Jane Martin, George Jr. 'Bud' (Debbie) Martin, Sandra (Rick) Lewis, Wayne (Michelle) Martin, Ricky Martin, Sonja (Brett) Sharp, Tonja Laducer, and Anthony (Misty) Martin; numerous nieces and nephew and longtime companion, Dennis Mock.

Debra was preceded in death by her father, sister Anita Martin and brothers Bradley and Timothy Martin.

A private family gathering was held at Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot, ND.
