Deborah Derheim, 78, Minot, died Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in a Minot nursing home.

Deborah Jonay Collins was born on April 11, 1947, in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Burlington and Minot.

Following her school years, Debbie began working at Trinity as a housekeeper. She also was a daycare provider for many families. Debbie met and married James Evertt Wetmur in 1966 in Minot and the two had three children together; Jonay, Brenda and Keith Allen who passed shortly after birth.  Debbie and James divorced in 1976.  In 1977 Debbie and Delmer Derheim met.  A year later they were married in Minot on July 7, 1978.

After marriage, Debbie and Delmer remained in Minot where they spent the rest of their lives. Debbie remained working as a housekeeper, and also began working for 1st Minot Management Maintenance, where she did painting and cleaning.

In her free time, Debbie especially enjoyed traveling, playing cards, crafts, going to Lake Sakakawea with her husband and daughters. They have countless fond memories of their time spent fishing and camping together. Debbie also enjoyed shopping with her daughters.  Debbie was well known for buying shoes and purses, when she wasn't shopping, she could be found watching The Young and the Restless or enjoying her favorite music like Vince Gill and Elvis.

Debbie will be remembered most for her fast walk, her funny demeanor and her gift of recalling numbers and dates. When she had her mind set on something she was firm. She will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.

Debbie's loving family includes: her daughters: Jonay (Paul) Sullivan and Brenda (Brady) Tudahl; grandchildren: Christopher Gray, Brandon (Courtney) Gray, Patrick (Amanda) Sullivan, Joseph (Kendra) Sullivan, Ashley (David) Krilis, and Hayden (Delain) Tudahl; great-grandchildren: Kaleb, Arianna, Emma, Noah, Gracie, Connor, Luke, Wyatt, Ryan, Lila, Brady, Emery, Alex, Jace, Brynlee, Zoey, and Brooklyn; sisters: Janice Foster and Pam Taylor; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
