David Parsons, 57, New Town, ND, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Minot Hospice Cottage surrounded by family in his last days.

David was born November 21, 1960, in Winslow, Arizona to Calvin and Linda (Bruchman) Parsons. He grew up in Bushman Acres in Winslow and graduated from Winslow High School in 1978.

David's professional life was dedicated to hard work. Known to friends, coworkers and employers alike as the "Go-To" man capable of fixing the problem whatever it might be. He pursued hard work with a dedication and fervor that led him from Wyoming to North Dakota. Consistently searching for his next professional challenge. In the last few years he was hard at work mastering the skills of the Roustabout in the oil industry.

During the brief times that he wasn't working, David was an outdoorsman to the core enjoying all nature had to offer. Throughout Wyoming and North Dakota his friends loved him and fish feared him. An avid fisherman, and hunter David spent his down time enjoying the bountiful opportunities to spend time with his friends and family in nature. Known for collecting wood both petrified and not, David's brothers and sons recall many adventures doing both. Humorous stories and memories abound and if you have one you are both blessed and required to share it. His knowledge, wisdom and friendship are trademarks of his memory and he will be truly missed for all that he was to his friends and family.

David is survived by his Grandmother, Jerry Parsons, his Mother Linda McHood husband Gordon; Brothers Daniel Parsons, Jayson Parsons; Sisters, Cindy Dowd, Paula Burch and Christy Parsons. He was blessed with his children Laura Parsons, Winslow, AZ, Christopher Parsons, Rio Rancho, NM, Devin Parsons, Phoenix, AZ and Billy Parsons, Mesa, AZ; and four wonderful grandchildren, many extended family members, friends and coworkers.

David was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Parsons.

A Celebration of David's Life will be held on November 23, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Girl Scout House,

500 E. Cherry Street in Winslow, AZ.
