David Leonard Anderson - September 5, 1958 - May 23, 2014

David Leonard Anderson, 55, Minot died Friday, May 23, 2014 in Minot.

David Leonard Anderson was born September 5, 1958 in Minot, ND, to Leonard and Evelyn (Rostad) Anderson. He graduated from Magic City Campus. He married Cathy Balke (Anderson Mathern). They had two children, Cody and Colton who both live in Minot. They were later divorced.

For many years Dave worked as a meat cutter and managed a meat department in Minot. He also worked as a carpenter. Dave's favorite pastimes were attending his sons' sporting events, and he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He taught his sons how to hunt and fish at a very young age, and Cody and Colton carry on those traditions to this day. He also liked playing softball, basketball, and barbecuing with his family.

Those who shared in his life: children, Cody Anderson and Colton (Heather) Anderson; granddaughter Fisher Anderson all of Minot; mother, Evelyn Anderson, Minot; brothers, Mike Anderson, Minot, Mark (Besty) Anderson, Bozeman, MT, and Paul (Jeni) Anderson, Alabama and many nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his father, Leonard and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
