David LeRoy Larson, 69, Minot, died Friday, March 20, 2015 in a Minot Hospital.

David was born December 14, 1945 at Minot, North Dakota the son of LeRoy and Phyllis (Brisson) Larson. He was raised in Minot and graduated from Minot Model High School in 1963 and from Minot Business College in 1966. He was employed as a secretary at the Minot Vocational Workshop.

A collector and scholar, David corresponded for many years with Stan Laurel, famous movie comedian and was cited with gratitude by the author of a definitive biography of Laurel.

David is survived by his brother, Richard Larson of Monticello, Illinois and his sister, Kathleen (Sam) Brill of Gainsville, FL; nephews, Richard Brill, and Erik Larson and niece, Melina Larson.

David was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Phyllis Larson.

Memorial Gathering: Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Trinity Nursing Home Roughrider Room, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.
