David S.L. Kajune, 8-month-old son of Donna Kajune and Skylar Debus, and stepson of Jeffrey Ptak passed away Friday, August 18, 2017, in a Minot hospital.

David was born December 11, 2016, in Minot, ND to Donna Kajune and Skylar Debus. He blessed us with eight beautiful months that we will forever cherish. He loved to laugh and play, especially at the park. He watched his TV shows and movies, danced with Mommy and played with Shadow, Drexx and Raven, the family pets. He blessed us with his bright smile when he was tickled and loved bath time.

David's loving family includes his mother, Donna J. Kajune, step-father, Jeffery Ptak and his father, Skylar Debus, of Minot; maternal grandparents, Russell and Kalee Kajune and Trina Manley, of Minot and step-grandfather, Jeffrey Ptak; maternal great-grandfather, Kasey Kajune of Milwaukee, WI; maternal great-grandmother, Irene Baldon, of Huntington Beach, CA; paternal grandparents, Tiffeny Debus, of Minot and Mitchell Debus, Shelby, MT; paternal great-grandmother, Kathy Ayala, Minot; aunts, Gianna Kajune, Kelsea Kajune and Darin Kajune; uncles, Jake Kajune, Josh Kajune, Russo Kajune and Cameran Debus; cousins, Adaya Kajune and Emelia Kajune as well as numerous other great-aunts and uncles and 2nd cousins.

David was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Donna Kajune and his uncle, Conrad Ayala.

The overwhelming outpouring of shared grief by family and friends has been an ever-present comfort and we thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: One hour prior to the start of the service in the funeral home.
Memorials are preferred.
